Form is an exploration of the human body as a subject matter. I have long been interested in the human form, what we find attractive (and what we don't), and how we have evolved. I quickly became interested in the simple lines of our bodies. Some subtle texture of the skin is retained in many of these images, but other than that the goal was to remove as much context as possible. The work may appear minimal and very two dimensional - a clean line on stark black. Yet it became very sculptural for me in its making, using these forms to cut the light out of space.
